Oh yes I think he will be waiting a long time sat there
Brilliant! I bet many have used this sculpture as a fun photo op!
this would make a great ad for newspapers!
I like it a lot!
That's a rather beautiful statue!MersadMersad Donko Photography
He looks like a real person at first sight.
It's unusual to see one like this that has painted!
Seems like it has been recently refreshed too.
Not seem a painted bronze sculpture. This one looks great, perfect for the square. Interesting photo.
And he has a rather large newspaper to read, too!
Interestong sculpture, great shot!
oh my, that is so much better with paint.
Quite a difference with your shot earlier in the year. Also sporting a pair of glasses now. :)
He's pretty pristine seeing he has probably been waiting for some time.
Great work and a beautiful photo.
Rarely is there a public sculpture that features a casually posed figure dressed in a suit. Quite a contrast.
Amazing sculpture - so life-like!
A very realistic sculpture. That hat dates it, though, doesn't it!? :-)It must go back to the 1950s.
I believe it was actually made for the Bicentenary as the paper is dated 26 January 1988
Thanks for that info. I'll add it to the post.
