Sculpture by the Sea is an annual outdoor sculpture exhibition on the two kilometre coastal walk from Bondi to Tamarama, looking out on the Pacific Ocean. The exhibition runs from 24 October to 10 November 2013. The Bondi entrance, along Notts Avenue, features this curious kiosk. The first sculpture on display is a billboard style artwork with an environmental awareness message which is called "Coming Soon" by Elaine Barry Conway.
I have a bunch of friends who are photographers. It's been awesome seeing the photos on Facebook.

ReplyDeleteThat is so cool! I like the creativity and environmental messages :)
ReplyDeleteBondi still has a very special place in my husband's heart. He and his family lived in very tough conditions in 1950s Bondi but his happiest period each week day was surfing before school.
ReplyDeleteThe beach still looks great.
Such a long flight but I would love to see it one day!
ReplyDeleteSydney seems never to run out of wonderful cultural experiences for people. I would love to see this sculpture exhibit along the sea. That is a very interesting kiosk...never seen one quite like it before
ReplyDeleteThe sea and the sand provides a very creative environment for some unique sculptures. Looking forward to seeing some more Jim.
