The Sacred Heart Monastery is located along Roma Avenue in the eastern suburb of Kensington. This heritage listed building was designed by Sheerin & Hennessy and built in 1895 in the Victorian Gothic architectural style.
Wow!!! What a stunning monastery! BUt, I don't think they is a monastery (active) that is not beautiful. Something to be said about the esthetics that go with a contemplative and reflective life.
It is impressive. I like the way the trees offset it.
