Sydney Ferries operate on Sydney Harbour and its connected waterways. They make their way past the Sydney Opera House arriving at or departing from the Circular Quay ferry terminal. This Rivercat Class ferry is part of the fleet that cruises up the Parramatta River. It was acquired in 1995 and named after Nicole Livingstone, an Australian swimmer.

An iconic view. Beautiful shot!
ReplyDeleteValerie, it was taken from a bit further along, at the top of the Overseas Passenger Terminal.
ReplyDeleteAs William says, this is an iconic shot of the opera house and harbor, what we all think of first when we think of Sydney.
ReplyDeleteEven though it is only the first days of October, it is already 32c here and I would love to be out on the water. Imagine sitting on the front of the ferry, watching the harbour and its landmark buildings go past.
