Circular Quay, Overseas Passenger Terminal

A view of the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay, where many cruise ships dock in Sydney Harbour, viewed from the roundabout at the end of Circular Quay Way. The tower is a great vantage point for viewing the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House. It was originally built in 1960 and was redesigned and refurbished in 1988.

    1. It was later in the day but without a cruise ship in port you can be lucky enough to find moments when there aren't many people around.

  3. The style looks far more elegant than the original 'modern' design when it first opened.

    1. Apparently the original 1960s passenger terminal was regarded as an eyesore.

  4. It looks so different without the rest of the city backdrop behind it.
