Milperra, Georges River

This navigation mark in the middle of the Georges River is viewed from Deepwater Park, in the southwestern suburb of Milperra.

  2. No reason, but I have always had a fear of water. This looks too deep and dangerous for me.

  3. What is the pole. A measuring instrument for the water depth ? It even has a red light on top to warn boats coming up?

    1. s.c, yes it's a navigation mark. The stripes on pole indicate depth and the red light on top helps boats navigate at night or bad weather. I'll add it to the post.
