
These ferries make their way across Circular Quay in front of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, viewed from East Circular Quay near the Sydney Opera House. The Collaroy is a Freshwater Fleet Class ferry acquired in 1988 and named after the northern Sydney suburb. The Alexander is a First Fleet Class ferry acquired in 1986 and named Alexander, after one of eleven ships of the First Fleet which sailed to Australia in 1787.

ReplyDeleteFerries are perfect for travelling around the harbour. Small enough to not clutter the water, tall enough to get a great view of the surrounding suburbs.
