Wedding Cake Island, viewed from Coogee Beach in the eastern suburb of Coogee. The island is one kilometre off the coast, in the Pacific Ocean and is named for its white, flat top and layers resembling a wedding cake, especially when whitecaps break over it. There were swells rising up to four metres this week which battered the coastline and this island.

I wouldn't mind having my wedding on or near Coogee Beach, but not ON the island. Those swells look a bit rough.
