This large Christmas Tree is located in the Martin Place pedestrian mall, outside the General Post Office building. 'A Sydney Christmas', which was held in late November, is an annual Children's Christmas Concert and Tree Lighting in Martin Place featuring Christmas carols and a fireworks display.

are the baubles just lights? This is so clever.
ReplyDeleteAnn, yes the baubles and stars are made up of coloured lights and tinsel. It looks okay during the day but brilliant at night.
ReplyDeleteIt's a long time we don't see something beautiful like this in town. Our 'trees' are very sad steel contraptions with some lights draped around...
