This wooden lattice footbridge over the Twin Ponds is one of many throughout the Royal Botanic Gardens. The water hen was contemplating going down the ramp into the pond.
I was reading in the paper on the weekend how Mt Annan and Mt Tomah botanic gardens have got heaps of extra visitors now they are free. I have not been to Mt Annan. I must schedule a visit in the spring when the flowers are in bloom because I am quite smitten by native flowers.
What a pretty little bridge! I wouldn't mind having something like that in my back yard....that is, if I HAD a back yard! I love the bird contemplating the walkway.
pretty little bridge
ReplyDeleteI love all the shade beyond the bridge
and the hen has his own little ramp!

Gorgeous area. A very nice touch for a botanic garden.
