Darling Harbour, Australian National Maritime Museum, International Fleet Review

This view of the ships at the Australian National Maritime Museum at Darling Harbour is from Pyrmont Bridge yesterday. An International Fleet Review has being held in Sydney for the past week to commemorate the centenary of the first entry of the Royal Australian Navy's Fleet into Sydney. It looks crowded because along with the ships normally exhibited, a fleet of Tall Ships from around the world has been moored here for the celebrations but will be departing today.

  1. I was waiting for a wide shot of these boats you mentioned in your earlier post. The sight is quite impressive!

  7. The masts and sails of the tall ships always add some dramatic presence to a landscape. And when crammed together like this, it highlights just what a great size the whole boat can be.
