The Annandale Creative Arts Centre is located in the Uniting Church building along Johnston Street, in the inner west suburb of Annandale. It provides space for innovative arts practise, community involvement in the arts and creative expression of faith and worship. This heritage listed building was built in 1891 in the Victorian Romanesque architectural style.
Looks like it might be a wonderful place to visit.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful church! Lovely architecture!
ReplyDeleteI don't know Annandale, but the Victorian Romanesque architectural style seems to be perfectly suited to a growing Sydney of the 1890s. The facade has a gentle, weathered look, so I am guessing the material is sandstone.
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely old building, such character, and a great photo for SWF.
ReplyDeleteLots of character, it has more arches than any building I have ever seen.
