Coogee Beach is a popular beach in the eastern suburb of Coogee. This view is to the south, towards the Coogee Beach Lifesaving Club up on the cliff. The view to the north can be seen here.
Luis, our sandy beaches really are wonderful. The swimming season is coming towards an end soon but you will find some brave swimmers even swimming at the beach in Winter here.
I would move to Sydney in a heartbeat, if I could buy a house facing the water at Coogee. I would need a cast iron contract that nothing would EVER block my view or my track to the sand.
Luis, there's an Australian drama series called "Wonderland" that is set in a block of flats on the north side of Coogee. You would love the familiar scenery in that show.
....Sehnsucht nach Sandstrand und Meer - Bei uns liegt noch reichlich Schnee auf den Bergen (Skifahren immer noch möglich !)

Looks like a popular beach, a great day to be outdoors. Have a happy week!
ReplyDeleteLove this Jim. I think I have told you that I lived on the north side of Coogee before moving to Darlinghurst.
