Chatswood, The Concourse, Vivid Sydney

The Concourse is a cultural centre in the north shore suburb of Chatswood. This year it has been illuminated with light projections for the Vivid Sydney Festival, which is running from 22 May to 8 June 2015. The building houses a library, theatre, concert hall, rehearsal spaces, exhibition hall, cafés, retail and commercial outlets and a boutique hotel. "The Nautilus and the Sea" is an animated feature which tells the story of Norbert the nautilus and his brave journey to find a new home.

  1. I would so like to see this! Fabulous, Jim!

  2. one can imagine the jlly fish dropping down their tentacles.

    1. Ann, it was all animated so there was lots of movement.

  3. What a glorious panorama of changing colour. It must be a breathtaking sight to watch in action.

  4. Hi Jim,

What a gorgeous building, and the changing colors compel the camera to capture them. Thanks for playing today.

Please come back and tell me what you think of my EVOO Dispenser post.

    Have a Beautiful Blue Monday!

  5. You have the most wonderful things in Sydney! Gorgeous photos!

    Happy Blue Monday,

  6. Not your typical mural. But fabulous! Love the colors.

  7. The light projections are fascinating! Very pretty!

  8. That the inhabitants of the sea must look for a new home is already saying enough. If they will find one is a still difficult to answer question and not easy to answer. But it looks as projection on the walls nice.

  9. These computer generated light shows are so darn creative and hypnotizing. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.

  10. WOW. Impressive. Tom The Backroads Traveller
