Newtown, graffiti art

This large mural is on the side wall of a laundrette on the corner of King Street and Holt Street, in the inner city suburb of Newtown. It was created by graffiti artist Phibs who has created a few murals around the city such as one at Stanmore.

  12. A wild bit of graffiti art, but that sign really caught my eye. I guess if you are going to stay there more than one night you have to wash the towels and sheets. That’s a first for me. I wonder if they supply the bags?????

    1. Genie, the bagwash service would involve dropping off a bag of laundry which they would wash, dry and fold for you. A doona in Australia is what the British call a duvet or Americans call a comforter. Basically it's a quilt, so you can clean your own quilts at this laundrette.
