This sculpture of a dolphin is installed in the middle of a walkway alongside Bondi Surf Pavilion leading to the beach, in the eastern suburb of Bondi Beach. The Bondi Surf Pavilion was built in 1928 in the Inter-War Mediterranean architectural style.

I like the setting, and appropriate to have that sculpture near the beach.
ReplyDeleteYes, Jim, what a wonderful spot for a dolphin sculpture...Bondi Beach!

Love this sculpture. On the waterfront in Halifax, we have "The Wave". The two of them would go together nicely. Thanks for linking up this week. #TPThursday
ReplyDeleteNancie, that sounds interesting.
DeleteWhile it's a pretty sculpture, there's something sad about a dolphin out of water, even if it is a sculpture! It should be in the middle of a fountain!
ReplyDeleteThat would be a great idea, Rachel.
DeleteInteresting sculpture.
