Our Lady of the Rosary is a Catholic Church located along Roma Avenue, in the eastern suburb of Kensington. The heritage listed church was built in 1906.
I have a feeling that the bell towers were never completed and by the time they decided to build them, church bells had fallen out of favour in residential areas.
A beautiful church. Its style feels a bit similar to a couple of churches here.
ReplyDeleteLovely church.

Solid and staid. I like the jagged lightening bolt down the facade
ReplyDelete...I wonder about the tops of the two towers, they look a bit modern for 1906.

ReplyDeleteThat white line almost looks like an earthquake crack (God forbid).
