This ferry wharf is located on the southern side of the Parramatta River, in the inner west suburb of Chiswick. It is served by First Fleet and RiverCat class ferries operating between Circular Quay and Parramatta. A river cat ferry is seen here just after departure from the wharf, with the Gladesville Bridge further in the distance. This wharf was built in 2017 and replaced the one which can be seen here. A cormorant can be seen perched on the remains of a heritage listed stone wharf in the foreground, which was a private jetty established in the late nineteenth or early twentieth century.
