This mural has been painted near the entrance of Redfern Jarjum College, along Redfern Street in the inner city suburb of Redfern. In 2009 St Aloysius's College, a Jesuit boys school in Milsons Point, was granted a lease on the former St Vincents presbytery site. The vision was for a free school that could mentor, educate and assist local urban Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. The word "deadly" is used by many Aboriginal people to mean very good or awesome, in the same way that "wicked" is used.
