Newtown, mural

This mural is located on the wall of a house on the corner of King Lane and Dickson Street, in the inner city suburb of Newtown. It was created by street artist PeQue and his VRS crew in 2017.

This church hall is located on the corner of Ponyara Road and Warrawee Place, in the southern suburb of Beverly Hills. It stands opposite the Regina Coeli Memorial Church.

Barangaroo, International Towers

Tower Three is one of three skyscrapers known as International Towers, in the inner city suburb of Barangaroo. The three towers were built in 2016 in the block bounded by Barangaroo Avenue, Watermans Quay, Scotch Road and Exchange Place, with the walkways Shipwright Walk and Mercantile Walk between them. This view is from Napoleon Street.

Pyrmont, Blackwattle Bay

This pontoon at Sydney Fish Markets is on Blackwattle Bay, viewed at sunset along with Anzac Bridge and the Blackwattle Bay marina, in the inner city suburb of Pyrmont.

Penshurst, hotel

The Penshurst Hotel is located on the corner of Penshurst Street and Victoria Avenue, in the southern suburb of Penshurst. This heritage listed hotel was built in 1932 in the Inter-War style.

Penshurst, railway station

The entrance to Penshurst railway station, in the southern suburb of Penshurst. It is served by Sydney Trains T4 line services on the Illawarra & South Coast Line. Penshurst station opened in 1886 with a single line from Hurstville to Sutherland. It was relocated south to its current location in 1905 when a deviation double track was built.

Narwee, railway station

The entrance to Narwee railway station, in the southern suburb of Narwee. It is served by Sydney Trains T8 Airport & South Line services. The station opened in 1931 when the East Hills line opened from Tempe to East Hills but has seen many changes in the years since then including the installation of a glass lift or elevator.

Redfern, graffiti art

This graffiti art is on the side of a former warehouse, on the corner of Cleveland Street and Eveleigh Street, in the inner city suburb of Redfern. It was created by street artist PeQue who has created many artworks around Sydney including one in St Paters. The warehouse is now used by Work-Shop, a creative concept which provides courses in life skills and alternative art.

Beverly Hills Baptist Church is located along Warrawee Place, in the southern suburb of Beverly Hills.

Alexandria, Sydney Park, wetlands

Sydney Park is a large recreational area in the inner city suburb of Alexandria. The former brickworks were transformed into parkland and four cascading wetlands. Stormwater is collected and recycled from surrounding suburban streets to provide constant running water in the wetlands.

Bardwell Park, railway station

Pyrmont, wharves

Sydney Wharf Apartments are in the redeveloped warehouse buildings on wharf 7/8 & 9/10 at Pyrmont Bay, in the inner city suburb of Pyrmont. They were once part of Sydney's port facilities and have been converted to apartments, restaurants and a marina on the bay. The Sydney skyline of office buildings is in the distance.

Dolls Point, Primrose House

Primrose House is located on the corner of Russell Avenue and Malua Street, in the southern suburb of Dolls Point. It was built in 1891 in the Victorian style and was originally the Scarborough Hotel at the Sans Souci Pleasure Grounds. It became a convalescent hospital for war wounded from 1913 and then bought by the charity Dr Barnardos Homes to house orphans and abandoned children. It was renamed after it was purchased by St George District Hospital in 1936, after chairman and solicitor Herman B. Primrose. It was used as an annex of the hospital until 1992 and then used as a day hospital for the frail and elderly. It was later restored and redeveloped and opened in 2018 as the Scots College Brighton Preparatory School for boys Kindergarten to Year 6.

Dolls Point, mural

This mosaic mural is on the side of the amenities building in Depena Reserve, in the southern suburb of Dolls Point. This is one of four murals created by Steven Vella in 2008. It depicts the view from the foreshore here across Botany Bay.The building was rebuilt in 2018 but the murals were saved. Others can be seen here and here.

Pyrmont, Tablet House

Tablet House is located between Refinery Drive and Refinery Square off Bowman Street, in the inner west suburb of Pyrmont. This heritage listed building was built in 1908 in the Federation style as a warehouse for the Colonial Sugar Refining (CSR) Co Ltd, which had a major sugar mill, sugar refinery, rum distillery and building products manufactured here.  In 2000, it was adaptively converted to residential as part of the Jacksons Landing development.

Pyrmont, Mount Street Walk

Mount Street Walk rises above Harvey Street, in the inner city suburb of Pyrmont. This set of stone stairs with 27 steps features red, blue and green aluminium strips that tell the stories of significant events from Pyrmont’s history.

Sculpture @ Bayside is an annual event that takes place at Cook Park, on the Botany Bay foreshore, in the southern suburb of Kyeemagh. This outdoor exhibition runs from 6 April to 30 April 2019 and features the best artworks from the Bayside Arts Festival.
