Queen's Square is located north of Hyde Park at the intersection of Macquarie Street and St James Road. This statue of Queen Victoria (top) unveiled in 1888 sits on the eastern side of Macquarie Street. The statue of her husband Prince Albert (bottom) unveiled in 1866 faces it from the western side of Macquarie Street.

Hah! I wandered through there just yesterday. Trying to get a dappled light to fall just right on the portico of St James'. Would not fall for me, so vowed to return another day, but earlier.
Nice!
You have a wonderful blog. Have a wonderful weekend.
