Soaring skywatch image.
From that angle it looks huge..
What a cool building! Is there a restaurant on top?
Yes, there's a restaurant up there and an observation deck. For the adventurous, you can also go on the Skywalk, which ventures outside on the roof.
Have you been into Westfield underneath? All empty ready for redevelopment. I took some shots of the lovely mosaicsin the food court area - all probably to be smashed. Will be posting shortly.
You have beautiful photos in both blogs! Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving your words there.Romicas
I look forward to seeing the photos of those mosaics from the food court and shopping centre Sally. I think the redevelopment is supposed to take a couple of years. I noticed that the Imperial Arcade next door has been reduced to rubble now.
Nice comparison shot against that spotless sky.
You are clever!! I just love the effect of the proportions - it looks like there are no big difference :) Well done :)
Lovely shot - it makes me think the tower is sort palm-tree ish in it's structure.
Looks a lot like the CN Tower in Toronto.
Nice clear sky. Lovely blue.Be Beautiful
Nice parallel construction.

Nice composition and lovely clear blue sky.
Nice composition. Interesting tower and beautiful clear sky!
That's amazing. The palm tree really puts into perspective how tall that tower is. Wow!
Wow perfect blue skies! Must have been a beautiful day. And love that palm tree caught in - just a little teaser for all those of us who still have winter.
Are you near where the cyclone might impact?Great capture of the interesting tower against a beautiful sky!
I love the palm next to the tower...a bit of green with all that steel.
Wow, do people go up into that tower? What a view that would be!
A great capture, harmonious twosome nature and man made.
Sharon, Heaps of people go up to the tower every day. It's a big tourist attraction in Sydney.Dewdrop, We're too far south for any cyclone activity in Sydney. The northern parts of Australia are prone to many cyclones.
Very nice. This is the first time that I have seen the tower so close & detailed
