Sydney Tower

Viewed from Hyde Park, this palm tree soars into the sky but is actually dwarfed by Sydney Tower, which is Sydney's tallest building.

  5. What a cool building! Is there a restaurant on top?

  6. Yes, there's a restaurant up there and an observation deck. For the adventurous, you can also go on the Skywalk, which ventures outside on the roof.

  7. Have you been into Westfield underneath? All empty ready for redevelopment. I took some shots of the lovely mosaicsin the food court area - all probably to be smashed. Will be posting shortly.

  9. I look forward to seeing the photos of those mosaics from the food court and shopping centre Sally. I think the redevelopment is supposed to take a couple of years. I noticed that the Imperial Arcade next door has been reduced to rubble now.

  23. Wow, do people go up into that tower?
What a view that would be!

  24. Sharon, Heaps of people go up to the tower every day. It's a big tourist attraction in Sydney.
Dewdrop, We're too far south for any cyclone activity in Sydney. The northern parts of Australia are prone to many cyclones.
