Darlinghurst, Oxford Square, drinking fountain

This canopied water fountain is located in Oxford Square, in the inner city suburb of Darlinghurst. It was one of eight highly ornamental drinking fountains brought to Sydney from Glasgow in 1870.

  2. Just noticed this old post of yours. I am collecting images of this style fountain for a post about various water fountains all over the CBD. Great looking housing, isn't it?
