A scenic view of Sydney Harbour from the rooftop of the Glenmore Hotel at The Rocks yesterday, where we had a Sydney Bloggers Meeting. The boats on the harbour, the people on the Sydney Opera House steps and the helicopters in the sky were there in the afternoon to celebrate the return of Jessica Watson, the youngest person ever to sail solo, non-stop and unassisted around the world.
Favourite view for postcard, beautiful shot.

Great welcome for a brave girl.
ReplyDeleteThere are kids that age who don't even want to leave the house, let alone sail alone around the globe. Good on ya, Jessica!
Perfect postcard, such a stunning building...
ReplyDeleteHeisann!
ReplyDeleteI have such creepy memories from the garden south of the Operea. My husband, sons and daughter in law were looked up inside the garden after closing time with all the bats flying over our heads. After passing the fence all around the park without finding an open gate, we had to climb over the high wall!
Amasing shot!
Have a nice week ;:OD)
