The promenade behind the harbourside beach in the eastern suburb of Watsons Bay, bathed in the golden glow of sunset. The are two famous landmarks here with brilliant views of Sydney Harbour and the city skyline. Doyle's On The Beach is a seafood restaurant on the left and Watsons Bay Hotel is a pub with a beer garden on the right. This was only a couple of weeks ago when we were having unseasonally warm weather and it felt like Summer was still hanging around. We've have a dose of reality since then with rain and a cold snap bringing us back into Autumn.
Gorgeous shot!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great shot!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful golden hue! Not helping the deep need for some beach time! Love this.
ReplyDeleteI visited Watson's Bay for the first time last year. I loved it and it was nothing like I imagined. How much nicer it would have been to arrive by tram along the cliff though.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great scene.
ReplyDeleteWinter still doesn't seem far enough away for me!
ReplyDeleteI love the golden light you've captured here.
Great shot of the promenade! Someday, I'd luv to visit Sydney, every image I see from there is gorgeous! Thanks for your visit today, and yes, otters are wonderful cute creatures. You don't have sea otters in Australia?

sunsets are very nice, specially when we are on the beach.

ReplyDeleteWow, that's a really beautiful photo. This golden hour is pretty magical.
ReplyDeleteWhen we were staying with our daughter at Vaucluse a couple of weeks ago, we walked there for coffee at the hotel then back again. The walk along the cliff-top was fabulous. (The coffee wasn't bad either).
ReplyDeleteMarie, we don't have sea otters in Australia but we do have many other unique animals.
