This St George Cab with the fiery dragon logo is parked at a taxi rank in the southern suburb of Kogarah. The St George District of Sydney is made up of the suburbs in the local government areas of the City of Hurstville, the City of Rockdale and the Municipality of Kogarah. Many other local businesses also and institutions have "St George" in their title including St. George Bank, St. George Hospital, St. George Illawarra Dragons (NRL Rugby League Team), St. George College of TAFE (Technical and Further Education), St. George Girls High School and the St George and Sutherland Shire Leader newspaper.

I have not noticed that fiery dragon along the side of the taxi before your photo, Jim. I wonder how long they have had that as their logo. I guess I do not see many St George taxis over my way nowadays.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for contributing to our National Day theme. I appreciate it.
Not sure when they introduced the logo, but it's been around for a few years now. I guess we see a lot more of them around our local area than you would see in other parts of Sydney.
