An excillent building, like the coat of arms
ReplyDeleteIt was late afternoon and I was very patient to wait around for a quiet moment.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure your patience was required at this time of year, Jim!! Terrific capture and a wonderful old building! I like the coat of arms, too! Hope you have a good week!!

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful building. I do like the header you have at the moment.
ReplyDeleteNice post office building.
ReplyDeleteLove this building, old style for sure. On such a nice, sunny day, too!
ReplyDeleteHow amazing that a] the building is still in great condition and b] it is being used for what it was meant to be in 1885. If Victorian buildings were not destroyed, they tended to be converted into Mackers or tyre shops :(
ReplyDeleteIt sure is one of the few grand post office buildings still being used as a post office. I certainly am glad it hasn't been turned into a Maccas and thankfully there isn't one in this suburb.
DeleteWhat a crisp, clean piece of architecture. Very nicely captured.
ReplyDeletewhat an excellent building to behold! I love that it's named Paddington.
