Paddington, Reservoir Gardens

Paddington Reservoir Gardens are on the corner of Oxford Street and Oatley Road, in the inner city suburb of Paddington. The remains of a former 19th century underground reservoir were redeveloped in 2009 to create an urban sanctuary with lawns, flower beds, shaded seating and a fish pond water feature.

  1. I like the rustic charm in the middle of the big city this place has.

  2. «Louis» is enjoying your Paddington series. It shows the architecture of Australia and how that architecture has its own language. It is clearly distinct from the 19th century architecture of England and is at the same time somewhat similar to the architecture of the American West in the same time period.
