St Mary's Cathedral, night

The facade of St Mary's Cathedral viewed from Cathedral Square in Cook and Philip Park, at night. It is located along College Street between St Mary's Road and William Street. The foundation stone was laid in 1868 and the sandstone cathedral was built in the Gothic Revival style of the 19th century, in a number of stages with the spires only completed in 2002.

    1. It always looked a bit odd without spires so it was wonderful when they finally added them.
