These remnants of Dolls Point tidal bath and wharf with the nets removed after shifting sands silted it up are at Lady Robinsons Beach on the shore of Botany Bay in the southern suburb of Dolls Point. The Norfolk Island Pine tree, which is native to Norfolk Island, stands on the edge of Cook Park.

ReplyDeleteI was in Sydney this past week - too hot, too humid and too crowded with cars on the streets :( Yet your photo of Lady Robinsons Beach on the shore of Botany Bay is stunningly peaceful and cool.
ReplyDeleteThis was the first day after the heatwave and it certainly was much cooler. Also, it was the afternoon of a work day so this part of the beach was very quiet.
