Newtown, street library

This community street library is located on the corner of Australia Street and Lennox Street, in the inner west suburb of Newtown. It allows people to borrow books for free, which can either be returned or exchanged for another book. The mural painted on the box features a book worm.

  1. I love these little libraries. We have a few scattered around Perth's parks.
Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Jim.

  2. These little libraries have popped up all over the world. I've never seen one so colorful and unique as this one, though. This is a great find.
