This sunset view of the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge was from Mrs Macquaries Point, in The Domain. Taking in the view is The Pontoon, a two level boat with three metre high glass walls that cruises around Sydney Harbour.
Shirley, the photo is taken from Mrs Macquaries Point which is on the other side of Farm Cove. A perfect vantage point to view sunsets behind these Sydney icons.
Sunsets are always beautiful to view, either being looked at first hand or on film. In this picture, the breathtaking scenery is accompanied by the majestic Sydney harbour which adds on to the overall significance of the said photo. If I dropby my storage unit in Sydney, I will always give that place a visit just for sightseeing purposes.
