This giant yellow snail sculpture is currently located in Hyde Park. Snailovation are brightly coloured snails that were created by the Cracking Art Group. They have been installed on city streets and in parks as part of Art and About Sydney, a festival of art in unusual places which runs from 20 September to 20 October 2013. Sydney Tower in the background, rises above the trees.
Somehow a big yellow snail in surprise niches of the cityscape is guaranteed to inspire a smile or two. Great idea and lovely photo.
