This sculpture of Saint Mary of the Cross and two children is located along College Street, at the Hyde Park entrance of St Mary's Cathedral. Mary MacKillop was canonised in Rome in 2010 as Australia's first saint. This bronze statue on a granite plinth, created by Louis Laumen, was unveiled here a week later.
