What a cool statue.
ReplyDeleteUnsure of what it may be, but such a sculpture in a busy plaza do give many a viewer a reason to stop and consider the artist's work. Very cool!
ReplyDeleteSomeone's clever, I wonder what it represents.
ReplyDeleteWell, Jim, without reading what it is, I never would have guessed "bird". However, it certainly does cast some shadows!!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteI agree. I had no idea until I read the description but I can sort of make out a beak and feathers on two long legs. Sort of. ;)
DeleteMore interesting art from your end of the world!
ReplyDeleteNot sure I'm a huge fan of this sculpture...
ReplyDeleteLydia, it's certainly one of the more divisive public sculptures in Sydney.
DeleteVery interesting and if you use your imagination, you can kinda see a bird.
ReplyDeleteGreat shadows, but the sculpture is, well, different.
ReplyDeleteIt's unusual, but I do like it.
