The former parsonage of the Paddington Methodist Church is located along Newcombe Street, in the eastern suburb of Paddington. "The Nest" is a heritage listed building that was built in 1884 in the Victorian Italianate architectural style with Gothic detailing. The Methodist Church became part of the Uniting Church in 1977 and the parsonage was converted to a child care centre in 1991.
Good to know that it is put to good use. Have a wonderful weekend!

ReplyDeleteThe clerical families who lived in the former parsonage of the Methodist Church must have had a lot of children. This was a gorgeous, big home.
