Carss Cottage is a sandstone cottage located at the end of Carwar Avenue, in the southern suburb of Carss Park. It stands in the middle of Carss Bush Park, a recreational area which overlooks Kogarah Bay and the Carss Park Tidal Baths. This heritage listed mid-Victorian homestead was built in 1860 by William Carss and has lent its name to the suburb.

A lovely cottage. The honey coloured sandstone gives it a very homely look.

ReplyDeleteVery nice golden hues in this image.
ReplyDeleteI find the windows on the near side of the house intriguing - they are rather small, and I wonder why this would be. The little round one is also curious.
