St Peter's Anglican Church is located along Old South Head Road, in the eastern suburb of Watsons Bay. This heritage listed sandstone church was designed by Edmund Blacket in the Gothic Revival architectural style and built in 1864. An organ vestry was added to the south side of the church in 1902.

ReplyDeleteThis has the style of an Anglican church, simple in shape with stonework. Here, it is not ornate, but clad simply with the stone. Nice!

ReplyDeleteKathe, it's known as or Sydney Basin Hawkesbury Sandstone or simply Sydney sandstone.
