This ferry at Circular Quay ferry wharf is a new Emerald class ferry operated by Sydney Ferries which entered service on Sydney Harbour in 2017. It is named Fred Hollows for a New Zealand-Australian ophthalmologist who became known for his work in restoring eyesight for many people in Australia and other countries.
