Arncliffe railway station is on the T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line, in the southern suburb of Arncliffe. This view is from Platform 1 and 2 towards the ticket office and entrances. In 2016, a shelter was installed along Platform 2, along with new stairs, lifts from the street to the concourse and down to the platforms, ticket scanners, benches, bins and signs. The signage across the Sydney Trains network has been upgraded to an orange colour scheme with a big "T" for Trains at entrances. You can see what it looked like in the past here.

I like how the station is laid out.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo. Light, angles, composition - well done. I like that the steps are in the center of the photo; really draws the eye!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the feedback, boromax.
DeleteI miss having railway stations as a common in my hometown. Growing up we had many passenger trains that passed through our town and was fun to ride to another city/state. Yours looks very inviting. Thanks for sharing at Pictorial Tuesday.
ReplyDelete...orange sure shows up.
ReplyDeleteThe ticket office and entrances go down very nicely to the platforms!
ReplyDeleteA fascinating station, above the roadway and tracks!
