St Ursula's College is a Catholic high school for girls, located along Caroline Street, in the southern suburb of Kingsgrove. The Ursuline Sisters came to the Kingsgrove Parish in 1949 when they were invited to take over St Bernadette's School at Bexley North from the Sisters of Mercy. Within a few years they had established a convent at this site and opened Our Lady of Fatima Primary School. St Ursula's College was opened in 1957.

The simplicity of the architecture appeals to me.
ReplyDeleteLook at the sliver of a shadow cast by that pole! That building is built to last the test of time, it seems.
