St Mary's Cathedral, Lights of Christmas

The facade of St Mary's Cathedral on College Street has been featuring Lights of Christmas, a light projection show running from 8th December to 25th December. The display captures the essence of Australia’s natural beauty during summer, featuring traditional Christmas colours and imagery inspired by the cathedral. A brilliant display on this building that dominates the skyline on the eastern edge of the city. This view is from across the square in Cook and Philip Park, where choral performances have also been held nightly on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.

St. Mary's is my favorite place in Sydney. Even without the lights she is dramatic and beautiful .

    1. Ann, yes I had to use a tripod for these and stood right up the back of the viewing area. The barracks photos from a couple of days ago were hand held.
