Millers Point, Richmond Villa

Richmond Villa is located on top of a rock shelf above the level of Kent Street, in the inner city suburb of Millers Point. The heritage listed house was designed by Mortimer Lewis and built in 1851 in the Gothic Revival architectural style. It is constructed from sandstone which was quarried in this vicinity.

  2. So love the roof feature above each second floor window. The use of white adds a stunning magic touch to this lovely building.

  4. That's a very substantial house. Barring an earthquake, it should stand for many generations.
