Yes it is summer at you place and I fell like go swimming I am sitting here an freezing to cold now and not warm enough in our house for the moment, MB
Lovely to se the beautiful colour of the water on the first photo. Here in Sweden it´s snowing. I have been waiting on this. Now we are going to have a white Christmas. Have a nice day.
NatureFootstep, there are usually plenty around but for some reason I didn't see any at this time of day. A couple of weeks ago, I featured some shots from some nearby ponds at Rockdale and they were filled with many ducks and water birds.
kRiZ cPEc, Scarborough Park was named for the English coastal town of Scarborough in North Yorkshire. The song Scarborough Fair was about the market that was in that town, so there is a link.
I grew up in the area, but it's not a place to kayak people. These are storm canals and water run-off systems from gardens (hence the water despite the drought) and are only a few feet deep at any given time, and mostly filled with rubbish from careless idiots.
I love Scarborough Park, don't get me wrong, but your talents as a photographer are quite extraordinary.
As it is snowing heavily outside right now, These photos have given me a little bit of sunshine and warmth. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteYou range far and wide, Jim. I am in a much more contained area!
ReplyDeleteIt is a city that is built around water, isn't it. I know where this is, but had no idea that it existed - if you know what I mean.

ReplyDeleteThe pond's name reminds me of the song by Simon & Garfunkel...

Thanks Amy. Many of the world's most beautiful waterways haven't been spared by some sort of pollution caused by humans.
