I haven't done my post yet for SWF, I do like this one though-it must be odd having Christmas in the heat. Nice tree though, thanks for sharing:)
that's a cool christmas tree. thanks for sharing.blue*
What a marvelous capture! Blue skies, water and a beautiful Christmas tree! Fantastic! Does seem different here in the states to see such a summery picture for Christmas!! Have a great weekend!Sylvia
Now this would have to be a different Counciil from City of Sydney. Not sure about down your way, but in here we seem to have spent more thought in our decorations this year. More thought AND more money. The tree brings out the glorious blue in the sky, Jim. Or the other way around ...
Happy Holidays! Great capture.Regards.
Jane, it's not odd for us, having Christmas in the heat because we've always had Christmas at summer time. :) It's only a bit odd to me when people try to emulate so many northern hemisphere winter traditions in the middle of our summer.Julie, I agree, the City of Sydney decorations are great this year and some of the other local councils need to do some work to catch up. I hadn't seen a Christmas tree at the beach before and thought some of our overseas blog visitors might find it curious.
I's a lovely Christmas Tree:)Happy weekend to you!
Beautiful Christmas tree and lovely beach.
I'd love to have a tree like that in my front yard!!! It's gorgeous. Merry Christmas!
Lovely, sunny day. I needed that - been drizzling all day yesterday. Have a nice weekend.
Wow, It's unique! Great idea Jim.
Not a typical Christmas scene, but very pretty!
Nice Capture, beautiful christmas treeRed Red Sun
How nice to see that he's protected. Please have a wonderful Friday.
Beautiful sky shot. Love the tree, blue sky, and water.
A beautiful Christmas tree by the sea. It is a wonderful scene for the holidays.
Beautiful decorations of Christmas tree. Happy Christmas.
Lovely Christmas tree, so beautiful against a brilliant blue sky.
Christmas in the summer...that is a strange thought for this northern hemisphere person! Beautiful picture, I would like to spend some time on the beach!
that is one big Christmas tree.My Sky Watch Friday entry, happy holidays!
love the blue!
Its pretty and in a lovely setting but the cynic in me wonders how long before its vandalised. Is there security, the Hyde Park one has a full time security guard (who has a tendency to get in the way when you are trying to take a photo).
Not sure about security for this tree Ann, but I have noticed the security guard in Hyde Park at night this year. It's sad to think that we need to have security to protect Christmas decorations these days.
A great idea whoever thought of it.
A Christmas tree on the beach ! that's something special to me !
Cute white picket fence highlights the beauty of the tree by the beach! It looks like a precious corner of the world! Delightful!
Great to see that christams tree under the clear blue sky.For the first time in many years we've had about half a meter of snow yesterday. We're hoping for a white Christmas ...Enjoy your weekend!
That looks like a wonderful place to spend Christmas.
excellent scene.tarditional scene of December...Congratsgraceolsson.se/mittliv
A Christmas tree by the ocean in the summer. That's very strange to me. Nice photograph!
Cool Christmas tree and a pretty sky! Great image.
Very beautiful tree! My first thought "so odd to see a Christmas tree by the beach" ..... here in Drammen (Norway) we're having 14 degrees below zero! It's freezing cold! BrrrrBut Christmas is comeing all over the world, and don't bother weather it's warm or cold.Happy Holidays!
Thanks for the Christmas picture! It really captures the feeling of Christmas in the Summer... That's something that I am not used to! We often have clear blue skies on Christmas in California but they are cold blue skies!...Thanks,Keith
