David Jones Department Store continues a Christmas tradition with their animated marionette window display. This year they feature popular Christmas Carols. In order of appearance they are Silent Night, Little Drummer Boy, Good King Wenceslas, I Saw Three Ships, The Holly and Ivy and Joy to the World. I had more success photographing these at night this year, compared to the daytime shots last year, seen here.
They look like a fabulous display windows!
ReplyDeleteThey are so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYou have captured these well, Jim. I gave them a go but was dissatisfied with the result and did not use them.
ReplyDeleteIt is disappointing that more stores have not taken on something like this. Not core business, I suppose.
Very colorful and pretty. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteI should try it at night. My daytime ones - to feature later in the week - are full of reflections. These came up well.
ReplyDeleteMagical array of bright colour! Fascinating in the night light!
ReplyDeleteA wonderful post J Bar - love the colours.
